A Video Tribute to Mrs. Marks is now available on this site. Patty Marks, 78 of Coolville, Ohio passed away March 29, 2012 at her residence. She was born March 7, 1934 in Parkersburg, W.Va. a daughter of the late Albert O. and Beulah V. Smith Newbanks. She was a homemaker and had formerly worked at Skyline Speedway. She enjoyed sprint car and dirt track racing. Patty loved God and her family and friends. She was a former member of the Little Hocking Garden Club and was involved with Home Interior sales. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Parkersburg. Patty is survived by her husband, Ronald Larry Marks; four daughters, Ronda Spear of Largo, FL, Tonya Phillips (Jesse) of Coolville, Ohio, Rebecca Wheaton (Bill) of Orlando, FL, and Pamela Sharp (Skip) of Palm Harbor, FL; two step-daughters, Denna Chipps (Raymond) and Teresa Marks both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a son, Ron Marks (Jennifer) of Coolville, Ohio; a step-son, Derek Marks (Sharon) of Parkersburg; five sisters, Betty Allen, Susie Lyons both of Little Hocking, Ohio, Kay Booth of Vienna, W.Va., Mary Sams of Washington, W.Va., and Joanne Ludwig of Sun City, FL; five brothers, Paul Newbanks, Albert Lee Newbanks, Ronnie Newbanks, Mitch Newbanks all of Little Hocking, Ohio, and Roger Newbanks of Stewart, Ohio; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1306 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Ralph Tisdale and Dr. Joe Nelson officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
