Patricia G. Benson

Patricia G. Benson, 85, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away peacefully at home to join her Heavenly family on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. She was born September 6, 1935 at Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Rev. Vernon F. and Glenna L. Wigal Cale. Patricia was a homemaker and co-owner of Benson Truck Bodies.She enjoyed cross stitching, fishing, camping and traveling with the Holiday Ramblers.Patricia was a member of the Lubeck United Methodist Church for many years.She loved to sing at church and was a member of the community choir.Patricia loved her animals especially her cats. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert W. Benson; daughters, Teresa L. (Wayne) Williamson and Robin Joy; sister, Phyllis (Jerry) Johnson; grandchildren, Nathan R. Joy, Jeremy A. (LaDawn) Joy and Seth T. Williamson; and great grandchildren, Sydney Joy, Cole Joy and Lydia Joy. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by an infant brother and infant twin sisters. A private graveside service will be held at family’s convenience on a later date.
