Patricia A. "Pat" Ayers

Patricia A. “Pat” Ayers, 87, of Parkersburg passed away Friday, December 31, 2021. She was born March 8, 1934 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Wilbur B. and Beulah Modesitt Harris. Pat was a 1952 graduate of Parkersburg High School and had previously worked for Demuth Glass in Vienna and Yonkers Clothing Manufacturing. She was a member of the Eastern Star #14 and a member of the Rosemar United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Tanya L. Underwood (Butch) of Williamstown; one brother, Robert M. Harris; two grandchildren, Ryan Ayers and Dean Underwood and one great-grandson, Elias Ayers. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll “C.W.” Ayers; her son, Steven B. Ayers; and one brother, Wilbur Eugene Harris. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.Per Pat’s wishes, visitation will be from 12:00 pm till time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Worthington Healthcare Center for the wonderful care they gave to Pat.
