Pamela Michele Pickens, 40 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va. with her husband and mother at her side.She was born February 14, 1973 in Parkersburg, a daughter of Barbara Franklin, T.D. Jacobs and Dewayne Franklin all of Parkersburg.She enjoyed gardening and caring for her plants and collecting Boyd Bears. She loved children, loved making everyone happy and enjoyed life. She especially loved movie night. She was on the board and was sergeant of arms at the American Legion, Ladies Auxiliary Post 104.She is survived by her husband, Andrew Lee Pickens; son, Trevell Lee Pickens of the home; mother-in-law, Mary Ross; sister-in-law, Shelly Edwards; her mother, Barbara Franklin; brothers, Shawn Franklin and Turhan Coleman; sisters, Danean Franklin, Tara Franklin, Brinae Riddle; special friend, Chad Greenleaf, Leneica Vaughan, Tammy Williams, Cathy Plummer, Tonetta Scott, cousin, and J.C. Spriggs; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She loved her Scrappy-Do's, Da'Shawna Hatcher, Kelsey Hatcher, Shawnette Hatcher, Cydney Franklin, Tilia Gaskins, Calaya Rake, and Mia Hatcher.She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Viola Strong, Joan Hatcher, Mamie Bateman, and Lillian Darby; aunts, Evelyn Jewett and Shirley Barber; uncle, Charles Hatcher; cousins, Heather Barber and Desiree Barber.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Lisa Pearl Singledecker Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
