Pamela Sue Chaney Cheuvront, 56, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on June 21, 2014 in Petersburg, W.Va.She was born February 27, 1958, in Parkersburg, a daughter of John G. Chaney of Vienna, W.Va. and the late Charline Noblin Chaney.Pamela was a 1976 graduate of Parkersburg High School, attended the Ohio Valley School of Nursing in Wheeling, W.Va., received a two year degree from WVU-P School of Nursing and received a four year degree from Wheeling Jesuit College. She started her career at St. Joseph's Hospital in 1980 and recently worked at Camden Clark Medical Center. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the Word of God Ministries.In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 36 years, Rick L. Cheuvront; one daughter, Cristy A. (Eric E.) Johnson of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; one sister, Nancy R. (Robert C.) Owens of Lancaster, Ohio; one brother, John B. (Jodi M.) Chaney of Murphytown, W.Va.; one brother-in-law, Terry (Mary) Cheuvront of Parkersburg; four grandchildren, Jacob H., Emily A., Joseph F. and Joshua C. Johnson; two nephews, James B. (Jennifer) Chaney and Patrick W. Cheuvront; three nieces, Jessica R. Chaney, Jondra R. Chaney, and Nicole M. (Greg) Smith; and great-nephew, Owen James Chaney.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg with Pastor Lynn Roush officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
