Orville Leon Mayle, 78 of Belpre, Ohio passed away June 4, 2013, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born September 9, 1934 in Belpre, Ohio, a son of the late Emmett Dalton and Freda Scott Mayle.Orville earned his G.E.D. and served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and Viet Nam. He was a retired truck driver for O'Ames and Suttles Tank Line out of Demopolis, Alabama. Orville attended The First Baptist Church of Belpre and coached Little League baseball. He was also a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. of Belpre.Orville is survived by his loving wife, Inez Chandler Mayle; three sons, Jeffery Leon Mayle (Debbie) of Elk City, Oklahoma, Bryan Anthony Mayle (Mary Jane) of Connelly Springs, N.C., and Christopher Lee Mayle (Lyne) of Marana, Arizona; two sisters,Anita Scott of Columbus, Ohio, and Patricia Jones of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Zachery Mayle, Joshua Mayle, Jacob Mayle, Rainbow McMurty, and Hearher Renia Hollfield; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Mayle, Xavier McMurty, and Kahyn McMurty.He was preceded in death by an infant son; and a brother, Raymond Scott Jr.There will be a private full military graveside service conducted by American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg, W.Va. held at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Ohio.
