Orpha V. Jenkins

Orpha V. Jenkins, 88, of Chesterhill, OH, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Highland Oaks Healthcare in McConnelsville. She was born June 18, 1932 in Zanesville, OH, a daughter of the late Aaron and Grethel Mae Baker Parsons. Orpha enjoyed playing bingo and being with her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving is her husband of 71 years, Wilbert W. Jenkins; her children, Shelly Dalton of Canton, OH, Arlene Mayle (Terry) of McConnelsville, Donnie Jenkins of Florida, Bruce Jenkins (Terri), Kevin Jenkins, and Marvin Jenkins all of Chesterhill; two sisters, Nina Mayle (Jethro) and Darlene Norris (Melvin) both of Bartlett, OH; one brother, Alford Parsons of Chesterhill; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Orpha was preceded in death by her sisters, Alice Mayle and Lola Parsons and her brother, Bob Parsons. Private family gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blessings Boxes Ministry, Main Street Church of Christ, #9 North 4th Street, McConnelsville, Ohio 43756 in memory of Orpha.
