Norma Jean Roach, 74, of Williamstown, W.Va., passed away April 17, 2011, at her home. She was born February 26, 1937, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of Howard Dent Lott of Vienna, W.Va. and the late Pauline Virginia Channel Lott. Norma retired after thirty years of service from Public Debt. She enjoyed yard sales, shopping, helping others, and playing the piano. She was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.Surviving is her loving husband, Billie Franklin Roach; three sons, William Howard Roach and wife Tonda of Carolina Beach, NC, and Christopher Scott and Douglas Andrew Roach, both of Williamstown, W.Va.; one brother, Larry Lott and wife Sharon of Cary, NC; five grandchildren, Alison Renee Roach and Kyle Douglas Roach, both of Williamstown, W.Va., Sergeant Shawn Robert Roach, who is serving his country in the US Army in Fort Drumm, NY, Megan Cheyenne Roach of Carolina Beach, NC, and Abby Lynn Roach of Marietta, OH; and one great-granddaughter, Mia Bernice Roach of Hopkinsville, KY.Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM Thursday April 21, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, with Reverend Dean Ash officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8PM on Wednesday April 20, 2011, at the funeral home The family would like to extend an invitation for all to join them for a gathering of food and fellowship following services on Thursday at the Faith Baptist Church, 1103 10th St., Vienna, W.Va., 26105.
