Norma Jean (Nichols) Richardson 77, of Williamstown, W.Va., passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday June 27, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones at her residence, following a battle with lung cancer.She was born in Williamstown, October 25, 1936 to the late Noble and Virginia (Russell) Nichols.Norma attended Williamstown High School where she met her husband of 61 years. She was a retired floral designer and a member of the Williamstown Woman's Club and a former member of the Faith Bible Church of Williamstown for 25 years. One of her greatest joys was her family and cooking Sunday dinner with her homemade noodles and pies.She is survived by her husband, Russell Richardson; one son, Kenneth Richardson of Tampa, Fl.; two daughters, Linda (Rick) Petty of Vincent, Ohio and Nancy Flanders of Williamstown, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Matthew Petty of Fraser, Co., Megan (Phil) Ludwig of Vincent, Ohio, Ben Petty, Camp Lejeane NC (Marine), Emily Petty of Vincent, Ohio, Tiffany Flanders of Westerville, Ohio and Kelsey Flanders of Williamstown; one brother, Neil Nichols of Williamstown; two great-grandchildren, Zoey and Zachery Ludwig, and several nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Parkersburg and Sara & Connie for their special care.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, with Pastors Chad Mugrage and Elizabeth Campbell Maleke officiating. Visitation with family present will be on Mondayfrom 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W/Va.
