Nikola Brown

Nikola Brown, 50, of Parkersburg passed away at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center on January 18, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born on April 23, 1973 to Grayland Brown and Teresa Galloway in Parkersburg. She was a very special young woman and will be dearly missed by many. Her mom feels privileged for God to have given her Nikki.

Nikki enjoyed meeting people, spending time with her family, and had an exceptional love for music. She often would be seen with her Walkman on listening to her favorite artists.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Heather Brown Love of Huntersville, NC; her brother, Emerson Brown, of Parkersburg; a beloved nephew, Jordan Rogers, of Huntersville, NC; aunts, Jeannie Taylor of Granite Falls, NC, Melissa Bailey of High Point, NC, Barbara Bowen of Venice, FL, Portia Daniels and Babbett Brown both of Nashville, TN; and an uncle, TC Brown of Parkersburg; her cousins, Chrissy Smith (Rob) and Hezekiah Smith of Lowell, OH, Michael Ray, Leah Evans, Kayla Phillips, Noah Holbert, and Nick Taylor all of Parkersburg, Jason Clarkson of TX, Alyssa Watson and Kelsey  and Lindsay Landes of NC, Kelly Clarkson of NY, and Triph and Haisley Phillips and Everleigh Kerns of Parkersburg, all who meant the world to her.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Nial and Mary Rose and Emerson and Louise Brown; her beloved Aunt Leesa Evans, and a cousin who she loved like a brother, Sean Rose.

At the family’s request, there will be no public services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, The American Cancer Society, or The American Heart Association.
