Naomi Jean Uhl 81, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away February 17, 2012, at Camden- Clark Medical Center.She was born February 21, 1930 in Vienna, a daughter of the late George and Opal Workman Flowers.Naomi retired from the W.Va. Dept. of Human Services after 20 plus years as a social worker. She loved to paint and play the piano. She also enjoyed the spring flowers. She was a Christian by faith.Naomi is survived by one daughter, Sheila Gates (Ray) of Vienna, W.Va.; two sons, Charles A. Uhl of Charles Town, W.Va., and Russell D. (Kathryn) Uhl of Walker, W.Va.; two sisters, Mary Lou Foggin of Vienna, W.Va., and Carolyn Atkinson of Williamstown, W.Va. three brothers, Gerald Flowers of Vienna, W.Va., John Flowers of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Steve Flowers of Vienna, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Rodney, Matthew, and Aaron Kirby, and Jessica, Jason and Christina Uhl; eight great-grandchildren, Dwight, Ronald, Dustin,(Little Dude),Angel and Abby Kirby,and Sarah and Jaxon Uhl.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Uhl and one grandchild Charles Uhl, one sister Joanne Davis, and one brother David Flowers. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Ramona Woods officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
