Nancy Carol King

Nancy Carol King, 74 of Norristown, PA formerly of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away January 7, 2014 at the Einstein Medical Center in Norristown.She was born June 9, 1939 in Parkersburg, W.Va. a daughter of the late Wade Ward and Delia Villers Ward. She was retired from the Beaufort County Court House in Beaufort, S.C. as a Clerk of Court. She was a member of the 7th Street United Methodist Church in Parkersburg.Nancy is survived by her children, Jeffery Scott Ward and his wife, (Carla) of Parkersburg, W.Va., Shawn Michael Lowry and (Jessica Pry) of Norristown, PA, and Angela Lowry and (Bill Chakiris) of Warminster, PA; and her sister, Martha Ward Creel of Parkersburg, W.Va. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lowry; her second husband, Douglas King; and four brothers.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at the 7th Street United Methodist Church in Parkersburg with Pastor Kathi Ambler officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
