Monica R. Freshour

Monica R. Freshour, 58, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away March 3, 2012, at her residence.Monica was born April 15, 1953, in Parkersburg, a daughter of Velma Hart Jones and the late Ronald L. Jones Sr.She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Stephen A. Freshour; two sons, Stephen A. (Lacey) Freshour II, and Shane M. (Tara) Freshour; one daughter, Kristen D. (Matthew) Kimes; two sisters, Sandra Staats, and Brenda Channell; two brothers, Terry Jones, and Ronald Jones Jr.; and seven grandchildren.Monica enjoyed arts, crafts and chatting with friends on Facebook. However, she lived for her family, especially her seven grandbabies, Keygan, Hadley, Emerie, Kendall, Ihla, Cambrie and Karsen. She was their “Nana.” Her days were spent attending every activity the grandkids were involved in, from ballgames to preschool programs. They always knew Nana was their biggest Fan. I love you and miss you.Monica was preceded in death by her father, Ronald L. Jones Jr.Services for Monica will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March7, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Steven States officiating. Burial will follow at Cairo Masonic Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
