Michael Shane Davis

Michael Shane Davis, 47 of Marietta, Ohio passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.He was born February 18, 1967 in Boaz, W.Va., a son of the late George and Patricia Pierson Davis. Michael had previously worked for Williamstown Auto and attended Souls Harbor Baptist Church in Marietta. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping.Michael is survived by his fiancée,Lori Oliver; his brothers, Jarrod Scott Davis of Marietta, Ohio and Kerry Griffin of Coolville, Ohio; his sisters, Amber Ross (Rocky) of Marietta and Eva Sylvester (Gary) of Florida; his step-children, Troy and Trista Oliver both of Marietta; his step-mother, Shirley Davis of Marietta; his nieces and nephews, Isaac, Elijah, Remi, Noah, Ashley, Jazmine, Halley, Sara, Nicole, Christina, Kerry, Anna, and Lora; and several aunts and uncles.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Patrick Davis; and a brother, Gary Griffin.Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va.
