Maxine R. Lambert, 70, of Guysville, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.She was born December 25, 1940, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Wilma Stewart Ruggles.Maxine was the owner and operator of a carry-out business for many years in Wellston, Ohio. She enjoyed reading and was of thePentecostal Holiness faith.She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Lambert, Jr.; one daughter, Sheila Ervin of Wellston, Ohio; two sons, Carl Cox of Wellston, Ohio and Jeff Cox of Virginia; one step-daughter, Jennifer Lambert of Florida; one step-son Walter L. Lambert, III of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Ruggles of Catlettsburg, Ky. and Charles Conley of Ashland, Ky.; anda sister-in-law, Kennetha Ruggles of Great Falls, Montana.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam and Manford Ruggles.A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 – 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
