Mary Lou Stalnaker, 64, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went home to be with her Lord and the loving arms of her husband, Barron L. Stalnaker, at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus on Jan. 19, 2012 surrounded by her son, Scott and sister, JoAnne.She was born Aug. 6, 1947 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Bernard Pell Riddle and Freddie Dell Westfall Riddle.Mary Lou attended Parkersburg schools and was employed until her retirement as a cook for McKinley School, Jefferson School, and Lubeck Elementary School.She is survived by her son, Scott A. Stalnaker and wife, Esther who she dearly loved and thought of as her daughter; four sisters, Jean West Dalrymple, Emma Kellison, JoAnne McKenna and husband, Tom, and Peggy Sue Barnes and husband, Ray; two brothers, Bernard Pell Riddle Jr., and William Scott Riddle; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and her husband of 40 years, Mary Lou was preceded in death by one infant son, Barron L. Stalnaker Jr.; a sister, Cappy Hoffmann; and three brother-in-laws.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg with Randy Dornon officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan 21, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.The family wishes to thank the staff on Oncology at Camden-Clark Hospital.
