Mary Margaret Somerville

Mary Margaret Somerville went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at Worthington Manor skilled nursing facility.She was born July 21, 1921, in Spencer, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lewellan A. Douglas and Margaret Mae Norris Douglas.She was a graduate of Spencer High School, class of 1940, and enjoyed attending class reunions. She attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church and Word of God Ministries, both in Parkersburg, W.Va.She worked in the office at O'Ames for a period, and was a homemaker who loved sewing, quilting and crafting for her family.She is survived by her son, Lawrence Patrick Somerville of Washington, W.Va.; her daughter, Mary Cheuvront (Terry) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and grandchildren, Patrick Cheuvront and Nicole Smith (Greg).She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Maxine Douglas, Stephen Douglas, Clarice Douglas Smith and Edna Douglas Bartlett; and her husband, Eugene Somerville.Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Lynn Roush officiating. Interment to follow at Parkersburg Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
