Mary B. Nichols

Mary B. Nichols, age 85, of Parkersburg, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 23, 2020. She was born January 13, 1935 in Richardson, WV a daughter of the late Buford Nichols and Grace Connolly Nichols. Mary worked many years in the hotel and restaurant business and owned Grantsville Hotel & Restaurant at one point in her life. She loved people and was also an avid animal lover. Mary is survived by her daughters, Connie (Bill) Law of Parkersburg, WV, Anita Godfrey of Canal Winchester, OH and Elaina Nicholas of Canal Winchester, OH; a sister, Juanita (Jim) Bell of Grantsville, WV; grandchildren, Josh Nicholas of Grantsville, WV, Christa (Paige) Perkins of McCordsville, IN, Melissa (Travis) Skinner of Weston, WV, John (Michelle) Godfrey of Washington, WV, and Brittany Presta of Parkersburg, WV; great-grandchildren, Dayton Perkins, Raegan Perkins, Greyson Godfrey, Teiarra Presta, TJ Presta, Brody Skinner and Adelyn Skinner. She is also survived by her dog, Precious, nephews and many friends. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
