Mary Louise Hartley

Mary Louise Hartley, 93, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away July 21, 2012, at Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on Sept. 1, 1918, a daughter of the late William M. and Laura K. Schramm Mason. Mary was a member of 19th Street First Lutheran Church. She retired from Corning Glass after 34 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews and friends. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hartley; her aunt, Louis Abbott; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va., with Pastor Ian Reid and Dwain Hartley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Marietta, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the Parkersburg Care and Rehab staff for the special care they provided for Mary. They would also request memorial donations be sent to 19th Street First Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
