Mary Virginia Johnson

Mary Virginia Johnson, 89 of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Arbors at Marietta.She was born June 27, 1924 in Lincoln County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Hal Dailey and Bessie Shelton Dean.Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to country music and watching birds. She was a Baptist by faith.Mary is survived by her two sons, Michael Johnson, and Rodney Johnson and wife, Lisa all of Huntington, W.Va.; two daughters, Sandy DeRose and husband, Mike of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Christy Ervin of Lesage, W.Va.; sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Johnson; two brothers, Johnny Dailey and Gwen Runyon; and one sister, Corenna Meade.Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 atLambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mineral Wells, W.Va. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
