Mary Edith CroninMary Edith Cronin, 85, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away on April 22, 2011 at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.She was born January 14, 1926, in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Frank G. and Mary Jane Varner Midcap.She was previously employed at St. Joseph's Hospital.She enjoyed making candy, puzzle books, and listening to gospel and country music.She was a member of the Baptist Gospel Temple Church of Parkersburg, W.Va.She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (George) Wilson of Parkersburg, W.Va., Sandy Cronin and Linda Lamp both of Belpre, Ohio; two sisters, Betty Alkire of Weirton, W.Va. and Deloris Bell of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sister-in-laws, Grace Midcap of Weirton, W.Va. and Beverly Midcap of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren Scott and Jason Wilson, Christy (Kevin) Roberts, and Michael Lamp; great-grandchildren, Cory Roberts and Jude Winters; special niece and nephew, Cheryl Metz and Dennis Metz; and several other nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Cronin, in 2008; one infant son, Jackie Lee Cronin; three brothers, Roy, Okey, and Bob Midcap; and one sister, Nellie Metz.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 1305 Washington Blv. Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Lloyd Winans. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
