Mary Elizabeth Clayton, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on April 21, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born March 13, 1923, in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Sylvia Baum Wagoner and Clarence Wagoner Sr.Mary was retired from CCMC and a member of Broadway Church of the Nazarene where she was very active.She is survived by seven children, Sharon (Danny) Stewart of Parkersburg, Rita Morrell, Las Vegas, Nev., Mary “Kat” (Roy) McBride of Front Royal, Va., John (Cherryle) Clayton of Pickens, S.C., Michael (Stephanie) Clayton, of Washington, W.Va., Byron L. Clayton Sr. of Marietta, Ohio, Cindy (Bill) Hess of Parkersburg; one brother, William (Susan) Wagoner of Parkersburg; one sister, Patsy Jean (Okey) Parsons of Washington, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a very special great-great-granddaughter, Allison Smith and a special great-grandson, Oliver Hess; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence Jr., Harry, Robert, James, and Donald Wagoner.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Johnny Briles and Pastor Dan Meek officiating.Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Ohio.Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at the funeral home.
