Marvin Lee Elliott, 85 of Belpre, Ohio formerly of Clinton, Iowa, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 11, 2013 at his residence.He was born August 5, 1927 in Clinton, a son of the late Lee and Alice House Elliott. Marvin was a graduate of Clinton High School and served at the end of WW II. He was a Navy Seaman First Class. He retired with 37 1/2 years with E.I. DuPont in Clinton, where he was a pipefitter by trade and worked for the maintenance Department. He enjoyed bowling for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and watching old western movies.Marvin is survived by his two sons, Paul Elliott of Ocoee, FL. and Matthew Elliott of Austin, TX; one daughter, Dianne Molina of Arizona; two daughters-in-law, Sharon Elliott of Belpre, OH, who was his caregiver and Mary Elliott of Circleville, OH; one sister, Dorothy Kellerman of Camanche, IA; grandchildren, Dawn, Scott, Jeremy, and Kristen Elliott all of Circleville, OH, Amber Elliott of Ocoee, FL, Marissa Kemple of Pearl City, IL, Nikki Elliott of Belpre, OH, Eric Schultz of Clinton, IA, and Renee Schultz of Dallas, TX; and twelve great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Elliott; two sons, Mark and Steven Elliott; and one brother, Adon Elliott.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Lemke Funeral Home, 2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton, Iowa 52732 with interment to follow at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the Lemke Funeral Home in Clinton.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre is assisting the family locally.
