Martha “Marty” Ann Hayth, 81, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sept. 6, 2011 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus. She was born March 4, 1930 in St. Albans, W.Va. to the late Milburn and Nellie Forren Howard. Marty had formerly been employed with C&P Telephone Company and also with Weiser and Cawley Furniture. She was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha sorority, Cardinal Garden Club, Vienna Garden Club and the Telephone Pioneers. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Parkersburg. Surviving are two daughters, Anna L. Lipps (Glen), and Debbie L. Hopkins (Tom) both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister, Jane Arthur of South Charleston, W.Va.; two brothers, Denver Howard of Cross Lanes, W.Va., and Ralph “Gus” Howard of Charleston, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Shana Marshall Little, Felicia Marshall, Jonathan Runyon, and Trevor Hopkins; and one great-grandson, Ian Little. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Hayth on April 13, 2011. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Martha's son-in-law, Charles Thomas “Tom” Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
