Marilyn Deane Bentz

Marilyn Deane Bentz, 60, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on Nov. 27, 2013 at her residence.She was born July 11, 1953, in Roane Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Rex and Mildred Bartlett Haddox.Marilyn was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School class of 1971 and had attended WVU-P. She had previously worked at Louise's Figure Salon and Ren-Dor Bowling Alley. She enjoyed bowling and cooking. She loved the Lord and was a member of Grace Gospel Church.She is survived by her son, Derek Bentz; her daughter, Kelly Bentz; her grandson, Hunter Steakley and his father, Mark Steakley; and her former husband, Charles Bentz, all of Parkersburg.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Dale Haddox.At Marilyn's request, there will be no visitation or services.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
