Madlyn Elma Lane, 69 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born April 11, 1942 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Curtis Calvin and Jeanette Romain Hammond Foutty. Madlyn was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, flower gardening, and taking pictures.She is survived by her three children, Alice Gulley of Newport, Ohio, Frances (Lee) Smarr of Cairo, W.Va., and Richard (Denise) Ledsome of Petroleum, W.Va.; three brothers, Bill (Hester) Foutty of Indianapolis, Ind., Calvin (Mary) Foutty, Jr. of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Bernard Foutty of Indianapolis, Ind.; eight grandchildren, J.R., Miranda, Jamie, Nicole, Janelle, Jennifer, Curtis, and Pam; three great-grandchildren, Tyra, Jocelyn, and Justen; best friend, Elfie Konhauser of Vienna, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Madlyn was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters, Mary Bowden, Lena McKinney, Isadean Caplinger, Pearl Leasure, and Bob Foutty; one great-grandson, A.J. Carpenter; and friend, Margaret Lynch.Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. D. Larry Hooper officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
