Madeline Opal Bradley 95, of Vienna, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord August 16, 2012.She was born January 26, 1917 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Sylvester Wilson and Clara Sutton Wilson. Madeline had previously worked for the American Viscose Corp. and enjoyed taking her family out to eat on Sundays. She was proud to be 95 years of age, was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, enjoyed bowling where she had won several awards, and was her great-grandsons biggest fan while attending their ball games. Her most favorite time in life was spending time with her family and Buster her dog. She was the oldest member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church with over 83 years of attendance and was a long time Sunday School Teacher. Madeline was very special to her family and was loved very much.She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Nelson and husband, Carl Junior Nelson of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Julie Newell of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two grandsons, Jay Nelson of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Todd Nelson of Vienna, W.Va.; five great-grandsons; two sisters, Myrtle Moore and Betty Laughlin both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and one brother, Max Wilson of Vienna, W.Va.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Bradley, August 30, 1995; and two brothers, Kenneth and Godfrey Wilson.Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.va. with Pastor Edward Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
