Lucille “Lucy” Anderson, 66 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away March 31, 2013 at The Willows Center.She was born June 11, 1946 in Parkersburg a daughter of the late Jesse and Mabel Smith Anderson. She grew up in Slate, W.Va. She attended school in Institute, W.Va. and was a graduate of Sumner School in Wood County, W.Va. She was the oldest West Virginian with Downs Syndrome and the second oldest person in the U.S. with Downs Syndrome. She liked the outdoors and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, W.Va.She is survived by a sister, Eva Myers of Vienna, W.Va.; 10 nieces, Betty Kennedy, Doris Wagoner, Mabel Braham, Kathy Johnson, Pam Tennant, Mary, Rhonda, Linda, Aleta, and Renee,three nephews, Roger Jordan, Michael and Bryan; a special great-niece, Vicky Hall; and several other great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Anderson and Jesse Anderson Jr.; and a niece, Donna Buckley.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Bill Law officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Mineral Wells, W.Va. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
