Lionel Keith Knopp

Lionel Keith Knopp, 64, of Mineral Wells, W.Va. passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at his residence.He was born May 24, 1948 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Richard and Laureda Parsons Knopp.Lionel was an U.S. Army Veteran and retired after 30 years service with the O'Ames Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar racing, antiques and auctions and was a member of Calvary Memorial Church.He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Waltraud “Val” Touby Knopp; two sons, James “J.B.” Knopp and his wife, Jaime, of Beckley, W.Va. and Chris Knopp and his wife, Jenny, of Ravenswood, W.Va.; six brothers and sisters, Gary Knopp of Vienna, W.Va., Gene Knopp of Parkersburg, W.Va., Leon Knopp of Mineral Wells, W.Va., Paula Righter of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Terry and Danny Knopp, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Brittany, Caleb, Josie, Lanie, Ella, and Calder; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street Parkersburg, W.Va. Visitation will be from 5:oo p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
