Linda Luella Steele

Linda Luella Steele, 71 of Davisville, W.Va. passed away July 19, 2012 at CCMC-St. Joseph's Campus.She was born in Waverly, W.Va. March 25, 1941, daughter of the late Glen and Hariette Meeks Umstot. She worked at the Bureau of Public Debt for thirty years and retired in 2005. She loved being with her nieces and nephews. Linda is survived by a brother, Paul Umstot of Cottageville, W.Va.; two sisters-in-law, Nixie Stanton, (Roy) of Albright, W.Va., and Sandy Steele of Waverly, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews, Kim Arnold (David) of Waverly, Brenda Waggoner (Lee) of Marietta, Chip Umstot (Stephanie) of Waverly, Lisa Stanton of Albright, W.Va., Jamie Stanton of Vandergrift, PA, Cindy Moore (Jimmy) of Waterford, Ohio, Tonya Owens (Frank), and Harry Steele Jr. both of Waverly; and several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Steele. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. James Pyles Sr. officiating.
