Linda Sue Lorentz, 67 of Little Hocking, Ohio took her heavenly flight May 22, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 22, 1952 in Wood County, WV a daughter of the late Lewis “Jack” Leonard Lambert and Alma Wolfe Lambert. She was a graduate of PSHS and attended WVU-P School of Nursing and was a Ward Clerk at Camden Clark Medical Center. Linda attended Mullen Memorial Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and enjoyed teaching children as a Sunday School teacher. She had worked at the Federal Credit Saving and Loan in Parkersburg. Linda is survived by a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Swiger of Little Hocking, OH; two brothers, Samuel Lambert (Gaby) of Vienna, WV and Larry Lambert of Rockport, WV; a step-daughter, Tammy Lorentz of California; four step-sons, William Lorentz (Mitzie) of Davisville, WV, Kenneth Lorentz (Tina) of Washington, WV, Jim Lorentz (Peggy) of Elizabeth, WV and Tim Lorentz (Debbie) of North Carolina; several step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Brian Lorentz; and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Lambert. As per Linda’s request there will be no visitation or service. There will be a memorial service at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, Green St. Parkesburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
