Lillian Hammer

Lillian “Bunnie” Hammer, 82 passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her residence.She was born July 7, 1932 at Slate, West Virginia a daughter of the late Fredrick J. and Gladys Reynolds Sims Boyd Armel.Lillian worked at The Willows Nursing Home and enjoyed flowers and doll collecting.She is survived by two aunts, Florida Sholes and Dolly Patterson of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a niece, Rozala Currey; a nephew, Kerby Holmes; other nieces and nephews; good friends, Dale and Janice Kuhn, and Marie Sealey.In addition to her parents Lillian was preceded in death by her only daughter, Sheryl J. Church; her brother, Raymond J. Sims; a sister, Ula M. Holmes; first husband, Ivan C. Church; her second husband, Herman D. Lott; her third husband and loving companion of22 years, Edward J. Hammer; and her beloved poodle, Peppi Hammer.Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio, with Pastor Janice Kuhn presiding. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.
