Lida Ilene Small

Lida “Ilene” Small, 76, of Belleville, W.Va. passed away Jan. 7, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born October 2, 1937, in Wood Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Claire Claude Shultz and Hannah Louise Blair Shultz.She was a retired cook from Windmill Restaurant at Dupont Cafeteria. She enjoyed corn hole, puzzle books and listening to old music.She is survived by her son, Gary Lee Shultz Sr. and wife, Marsha of Belleville, W.Va.; three sisters, Ruth Crew and husband, Ray of Parkersburg, W.Va., Violet Coss of Ohio and Sandra Hanlon and husband, Lester of Boaz, W.Va.; one brother, Carl B. Shultz and wife, Patty of Walker, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Gary Lee Shultz Jr. and wife, Brandy, Marsha Melrose, Maria Strawderman and husband, Eric, and Kevin Mear; six great-grandchildren; and several half-brothers and sisters.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Eugene Small in 1993; her daughter, Ruth Ilene Arvidson in 2009; one brother, Clair Vearl Shultz; and one sister, Esther Moore.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Ronnie Hendershot officiating. Interment will follow at Wadesville Cemetery.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. at the funeral home.
