Leo V. “Cleo” Anthony, 73, of Parkersburg, W.Va., left this earth onMay 14, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus following a short illness.He was born August 14, 1939, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Charles E. and Ona Belle Jordon Anthony.Leo was formerly a lineman for the CSX Railroad in the Ohio District. He was an active member of the DAV and Eagles. He enjoyed going on trips, family gatherings and watching Ohio State and Cincinnati Reds sports and Nascar races.He is survived by his long time companion and fiancé, C. Jo McCrady; one grandson, Austin Hendershot; six step-children; sister-in-law, Evelyn Anthony; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Anthony; one step-son; one step-daughter; five brothers; and three sisters.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service on Friday, at the funeral home.
