Laura Lucille Walker

Laura Lucille Walker, 77 of Belpre, Ohio departed this life to join her loved ones awaiting her in heaven on July 24, 2014.She was born August 2, 1936 in Meigs County, Ohio, a daughter of the late William S. and Forrest Catherine Doherty.Laura was a homemaker and loved stargazing with her family. She enjoyed many activities such as fishing, bingo, and crossword puzzles.She is survived by her five children, Robert Bernard Walker Jr. (Darlene) of Vincent, Ohio, John L. Walker (Kathy) of Reedsville, Ohio, Debbie K. Williams (Joe) of Vincent, Ohio, Mary Ann Rose (James) of Cheshire, Ohio, and Steve L. Walker (Anne) of Stockport, Ohio; four siblings, Alma Myers of Belpre, Ohio, Larry Doherty of Parkersburg, W.Va., Linda Drain of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Evelyn Powell of West Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bernard Walker Sr.; infant son, Paul Eugene Walker; three brothers; and six sisters.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Chaplain Bob Sinnett officiating. Interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:oo p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
