Larry J. Beaver, 73, of Parkersburg, W. Va., passed away on May 11, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness.He was a school teacher for 30 years, and worked at the Southside Wal-Mart as a people greeter for 13 years.He is survived by his very best friend, Katherine Ashby; one full sister Rosetta Colvin; three half-sisters, Alice Hubbard, Renee Polaska and Sandra Williams; three half-brothers, Gale Wilson, Dale Wilson and Paul Wilson.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Claudia Lucille Boley Beaver Wilson; step-father Gale Wilson Sr.; two full-brothers Bobby and Bernie Beaver; one half-brother Arthur Wilson; and one full-sister Katherine Burba.Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 233 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. Internment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery on Grasslick Rd. in Jackson County, W.Va. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
