Larry G. Arnold, 57, of Mineral Wells, W.Va. went to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 20, 2014.He was born January 28, 1957 in Newark, Ohio, to the late Opal Greathouse Weaver. He was a member of the Painters Local Union 1144 and employed by several contractors throughout his 30 years of construction. He was a member of Rush Run Baptist Church and attended South Parkersburg Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carolyn Murphy Arnold, and his son “Chaser” Chase Morgan Arnold, who was the joy of his life; a sister, Joy Shock of Walterboro, SC; brother, Ronald (Judy) Arnold of Canton, Ohio; a half brother, John Siers of Akron, Ohio; step sister, Sharon (Darren) Lowery of Parkersburg, W.Va.; in-laws, Linda (Bernard) Blair of Davisville, W.Va., Marvin “Butch” (Marcia) Murphy of Weston, W.Va., Kay (Ron) Swisher of Laurens, SC, Marie (Clarke) Wilson of Munday, W.Va.,Bobbi (Glenn) McEndree of Spencer, W.Va.,Leslie “Jeannie” (Mike) Gwinn of Givens, W.Va.; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.In addition to his mother, Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law; Lester and Helen Murphy, two brothers-in-law; Jack Shock, and Freddie Ball, Jr.Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 with Rev. Carroll McCauley officiating, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
