Maxine Argabrite, 85, long time resident of Vienna, WV. passed away July 15, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital with family by her side.She was born December 24, 1928 in Parkersburg, WV. a daughter of the late Audra Brown and Harry Clayton “Clay” Montgomery.She was a member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for many years at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She worked at Johns Manville in Vienna as anexecutive secretary from 1959 until she retired in 1982. She was a kind and loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. In the fall and winter months she loved traveling with her husband Fleet to Fort Myers, FL. They were devoted to each other and shared a bond of love that radiated amongst their family and friends. She loved to walk the beach and collect sea shells and enjoyed making homemade Christmas ornaments that were as unique and beautiful as she was.She is survived by her sisters Mary Ellen (Bob) Wilson of Vienna, WV; Sandra Montgomery of St. Petersburg,FL. and brother, Larry Montgomery of Vienna, WV; special nieces Vicki Mueller of Long Valley, NJ, Judy (Phil) Carey of Coraopolis, PA, Susan Hansche of Fairfax, VA and Julie Amos of Parkersburg, WV; special nephews, Bob Fielder and wife Vicki of Parkersburg, WV and John Hansche of St. Petersburg, FL; special great-nephew Larry Pander and Maxine's two godsons, Adam and Austin Mueller; and many other nieces ,nephewsand good friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2011 by the love of her life Fleet Argabrite with whom she shared 59 years of marriage; step-motherRosalia Montgomery; sisters-in-law Edna Lowe, Francis Allen, Mary Fielder, Betty Allen, Dorothy Argabrite, Nan Jahan and Judy Montgomery; brothers-in-law Charles, John and James “Bud” Argabrite.The family wishes to thank caregivers Harriet Luftman, Pat Wagoner, Rhonda McBride, Colleen Hinzman; Cindy Deem of TLC In Home Care and the staff of the memory unit at Emeritus in Marietta. Special thanks to Dr. John Beane and Dr. Barry Louden for their quality of care.A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home,3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, West Virginia, with Reverend Dr. Paul Russell officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Mt.
