Kenneth Dale Nichols

Kenneth Dale Nichols Sr., 77, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on February 6, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born September 15, 1936, in Roane County, W.Va., a son of the late William F. and Bernice V. Snyder Nichols.Ken was a Supervisor for the Painters Union Local 1144 District 53. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his cats, LeeAnn and Snowball and his dog, Dollie.He is survived by two sons, Kenneth D. Nichols Jr. (Robin L.) and William F. Nichols, both of Washington, W.Va.; one sister, Joyce Davidson (Jim) Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Greg Nichols (Becky) also of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Trey D. Nichols, Adrea M. Nichols, Amanda Riffle Ball, and Heather R. Riffle; one great-granddaughter; and one great grandson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly L. Nichols; one brother, Nick Russell Nichols; and one sister, Pauline “Dink” Biles.Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at Sunset Memory Gardens and Mausoleum in Parkersburg.
