Karoline Maxine Ciumedean Shaffer

Karoline Maxine Ciumedean Shaffer, 89, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Morgantown Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 12, 1931 in Lowesville, WV, a daughter of the late Gligor and Karoline Knobel Ciumedean. Karoline worked for Ralph's Market in the meat Department for 45 years and more recently as a door greeter at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed attending and fellowshipping at Camden Temple of Parkersburg. She is survived by two sisters, Helen West of Parkersburg and Betty Price of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and a nephew, Nelson Ciumedean. In addition to her parents, Karoline was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Pauline Ciumedean and Margaret Wilson; and two brothers, George Gligor Ciumedean and Robert N. Ciumedean. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at Lubeck, WV.
