Karol Joseph Bennett,

Karol J. Bennett, Jr. (Bear) 67, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away December 25, 2013 at his residence.He was born June 11, 1946 in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Karol Joseph Bennett, Sr. and Genevieve Reynolds Bennett.He retired after 34 years of service with O'Ames and was a minister with Prayer Chapel Church in Parkersburg for over 20 years. Karol was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bear is survived by his wife, Terry Argabrite Bennett; one son, Jeremy (Paula) Bennett of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three sisters, Nora (Harold) Anderson, Pam Bennett and Shelby Bennett all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Rick (Kathy) Bennett of Waterford, Ohio; brother-in-law, Lynn Roush of Parkersburg,W.Va.; plus his beloved dog, Izzy.He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Carolyn Roush.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December28, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg with Alan Tennant officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lubeck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
