Karl David Hall, 69 of St. Albans, W.Va. passed away August 4, 2013 at his residence.He was born July 26, 1944 in Marietta, Ohio a son of the late Joseph F. and Dorothy C. Wagner Hall. He was a 1962 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a patrolman for the Parkersburg Police from 1973 to 1984 and for 27 years worked as a member of the U.S. Marshall's Service as a Court Security Officer and assistant guard for judges.Karl is survived by two sons, Eric J. Hall of Baltimore, MD and Steven W. Hall (Carson) of Las Vegas; a sister, Julia Taylor of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; two brothers, Joseph F. Hall III (Kathy) of Chicago, IL and Robert W. Hall (Ann) of St. Albans, W.Va.; one step-grandson, Michael; four nieces; two nephews; five great-nieces; four great-nephews; three great great-nieces; two great great-nephews; and longtime friend, Joette Hall.A memorial service for family only, will be held at a later date.The family requests memorials be made in Karl's name to the American Cancer Society at 3901 Briscoe Road, Parkersburg, W.Va. 26104-4451 or the American Heart Association at American Heart Association, WV Region 162 Court St. Charleston, WV 25301.
