Judith A. Smith Dotson

Judith A. Smith Dotson, 72, of Wellsburg, W.Va., was called home by her Lord and Savior on Dec. 30, 2012.She was born on March 13, 1940, in Ohio Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Earnest A. and Ruth L. Cowan Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsburg and had been formerly employed by Darryl's IGA.She is survived by her children, Ernie Dotson of Marietta, Ohio, Tim Dotson (Wanda) and Stacy Hankins, both of Richmond, Va., Mike Dotson (Ila) of Benwood, Valerie Clay (Nate) of Charleston, W.Va., Vickie (Aaron) Mace of Washington, W.Va., and John Dotson of Wellsburg; three brothers, Jerry Smith of Wellsburg, Terry Smith of Follansbee, W.Va., and Jim Smith of Rock Hill, S.C.; one sister, Darlene Hinkle of Warwood, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Dotson; daughter, Janet Dotson; great-grandson; and infant brother.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Arthur Wells. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mineral Wells
