Ritchie, 86, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on Nov. 15, 2013 at Parkersburg Care and Rehab.She was born April 23, 1927, in Wood County., W.Va., a daughter of the late John Harry and Georgia Elsie Wilkinson Hornbeck.Juanita was a homemaker and had previously worked at Dudley's Florist. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, gardening, and wild animals especially squirrels, deer and birds. She enjoyed fishing when she was younger and going to the mountains. She was a Baptist by faith.She is survived by her children, Barbara Ellen Vitruls (Jerry) of Hillsville, Va., Darlene Kent of Parkersburg, W.Va., Clara May Bennett (Tom) of Washington, W.Va., Norma Ruth Wilson of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Ivan Barker Jr. (Sue) of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; one sister, Barbara Oman of Parkersburg, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one special nephew, Dave Hornbeck (Jerri); and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson; four sisters, Ruth Gladfelter, Lucille Leasure, Bernice Hornbeck, and Geraldine Hutson; and one brother, William Hornbeck.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Ronnie Hendershot officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to services on Sunday at the funeral home.
