Joyce Ann Sinnett

Joyce Ann Sinnett, 63, of Parkersburg, W.Va. went home on Feb. 15, 2014, at The Arbors at Marietta.Joyce was born March 9, 1950, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Lloyd Roach and Nellie Keith Roach Herning.Joyce worked as an accountant for several area businesses. She enjoyed sewing, working on her computer, reading and genealogy. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School with the class of 1968, and attended Parkersburg Community College. Joyce was a United Methodist by faith.She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Denzil “Mike” Sinnett; one brother, Lloyd “Larry” Roach (Portia) of Washington, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jay Herning.A funeral service for Joyce will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, with Pastor Lloyd Keith officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
