The link is under his picture.Joseph Ray West, 76, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus. He was born March 22, 1937 in Spencer, W.Va., the son of the late Charles Dennis West and Mary Price West.Joe was retired from O'Ames with 31 years of service. He was a member of the 14th Avenue Gospel Mission Church where he served as a deacon and an usher. He enjoyed spending time at the farm. “Pop” loved his church, family and friends. Joe is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beulah Irene Payne West; one son, Greg West of Lewisburg, Tenn.; one daughter, Teresa (Scott) Haverty of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Sara Swain, Mike West, Dani Haverty and Kyle Haverty; two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Charlie Swain; seven sisters, Freda Scott of Spencer, W.Va., Irene Allen of Uniontown, Ohio, Alice Harper of Falling Rock, W.Va., Jewell Boggs of Spencer, W.Va., Virginia Raines of Mineral Wells, W.Va., Ruth Ray of Fairplains, W.Va., and Marie Starcher of Morehead, Ky.; and two brothers, Charles Dennis West, Jr. of Spencer, W.Va. and Earl West of Cottageville, W.Va.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Alan West; four brothers, Oshel West, Buell West, Otis West and Dayton West; and one daughter-in-law, Jamie West. Funeral services for Joe will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow in the Swank Cemetery in Roane County, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
