Date and Time of Service: no visitation or serviceposted 10/6/2010 at 3:08:40 PMJoseph Edgar Lowers, 70, of Waverly, W.Va. passed away Oct. 5, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital.He was born Dec. 13, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio a son of the late Charles Everett Lowers and Jeannette Edgar Lowers Doak. He was a graduate of Caldwell High School, Caldwell, Ohio and was retired from Iron Workers Union 787. He attended Union Valley Baptist Church and loved the outdoors and hunting.He is survived by his fiancé, Ilene Weekley of Waverly; his brother, Gerald Lowers and his wife Betty of Caldwell, Ohio; two nieces; and four nephews.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Pat Day; and two nephews, Joe Day and David Lowers.There will be no visitation or service. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation services is assisting the family with arrangements.
