Joseph Rhodes Farra, 92, formerly of Vincent, Ohio spent his last day with us at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on January 12, 2013He was born June 4, 1920 at Belleville, W.Va., a son of the late Joseph J. and Trella Rhodes Farra.Joe was a 1939 graduate of Parkersburg High School. He was retired as a union electrician. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He was a 60 year member of IBEW Local 968, Parkersburg, Coolville Masonic Lodge #337 F.&A.M., VFW and American Legion Post 15, Parkersburg.He is survived by his loving companion, Juna Cutlip, of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Paula Cox (Jerry) of Aiken, SC; son, Nathan Farra (Beverly) of Melbourne, Fla.; step-daughters, Jean Dent of Belpre, Ohio and Darlene Cook Thorn (Mike) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; step-son, Kenneth Shafer (Roseann) of Franklin, Ohio; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Stephens Shafer Farra; son, William Joseph Farra; and sister, Claudia Davis.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Jim Condrey officiating. Inurnment will be at Evergreen North Cemetery at the convenience of the family.Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday and two hours prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.A Masonic memorial service will be 8 p.m. Wednesday
