John H. Johnston Jr., 40, formerly of Belpre, Ohio, passed away April 1, 2013 in Elyria, Ohio.He was born October 23, 1972 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of John H. Johnston and Sara E. Johnston.He was a construction worker by trade, and could always fill a room with laughter.In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiance, Karen Shaftstall of Elyria, Ohio; one daughter, Ashley Johnston; and one son, Zachary Johnston; a brother, Jimmy Johnston (Laura) of Blacklick, Ohio; and one sister, Beth Crowder (Jeff) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two nephews, Nate and Noah Crowder.Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Dr. William Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery, Belpre, Ohio. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
