Joan Ethel Barnette

Joan Ethel Barnette 71,of Belpre, passed away on May 24,2012,at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville, Ohio.She was born January 1, 1941, Waltham,Massachusetts,the daughter of the late Walter Smith and Ellen Rowell Smith. Joan is survived by her husband, Carlin Barnette Sr. one sister, Donna Swartz and one brother Alvin Smith both of Maynard,Massachusetts, a special sister in-law Marie Butcher of St.Marys,WV. She is also survived by her step mother, Rose Smith of New Hampshire and three stepsons,Carlin Barnette Jr.of Welcome, NC;J.D.Barnette of Berlin Center,Ohio;and Randall Barnette of Belpre, Ohio.Joan was preceded in death by both of her parents and four brothers.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday,June 9,2012 at 4:00 P.M. at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home located at 1305 Washington Blvd, in Belpre,Ohio.The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.lamberttatman.com.
